Badminton

From July 1st MSAC will be giving casual Badminton players the opportunity of playing until 10pm on a Sunday night.

This will be run as a trail at this stage so if you'd like it to become part of our regular hours then come on down for a game.

You will need enter & exit the building via the basketball doors only if arriving after 8pm

The Badminton Hall offers 12 purpose built courts; with an additional 8 courts available in the Table Tennis Hall Wednesday – Sunday.  For those wanting a serious game, MSAC has six world-class ‘taraflex’ courts that were used during the Commonwealth Games in 2006.

Racquets and shuttles can be purchased from the MSAC Shop. Racquets can also be hired from reception.

Equipment and Racquet Hire:

A drivers licence is required for any equipment hire and will be returned upon return of equipment.

Social Badminton

Whether you are looking for a serious hit-out or just a laugh, why not try Social Badminton. Get a few tips while you meet a great bunch of people.

Sessions are held at the following times:

Friday evenings	6.00pm - 9.00pm
Sunday afternoons	1.00pm - 4.00pm

*Subject to events and reduced trading hours

No need to book, just turn up and pay on the day. Or alternatively, you can purchase a multi-visit pass and save.

Ten visit passes are available for Social Badminton and Social Squash with a Melbourne Sports Hub Membership.

BADMINTON BASICS COURSE

So you’ve just found out what fun badminton is and would like to learn the basics?

Do a Basics Course – 5 X one-and -a –half –hour lessons on Sunday mornings (One course each school term)

Total cost $80 – covers racquets, shuttles, court hire and coaching
