School Programs - Aquatics

MSAC offers a range of aquatic programs over different durations:

• Full Day
• Half Day
• 2 Hours

The types of programs available are:

• School Swimming Lessons
• WipeOUT – fully supervised aquatic program
• Mega Sports Challenge – fully supervised combined stadiums and aquatic activities
• School SplashOUT
• Casual groups – unsupervised court use

There are a range of fantastic value options to suit each budget.

School Swimming Lessons

For those schools without aquatic facilities or trained staff, MSAC Swim School is a great way to complement your school’s physical education curriculum. MSAC Swim School offers a highly flexible program in heated indoor facilities which caters to a school’s individual needs. Choose from either intensive programs or weekly lessons during the term.

Give students the best chance to improve their swimming and water safety skills with MSAC’s state-of-the-art facilities, experienced instructors and modern program.

WipeOUT

Looking for somewhere different to go on a school excursion?

Get your kids active and come for a swim at MSAC. Our programs are flexible and can be catered for each school’s individual needs. Our aquatic program is 2 hours of non-stop fun and is fully supervised by qualified program leaders in heated, indoor facilities.

Activities include:

• Wave pool
• Water slide
• Inflatable

Applications are made by completing the Schools Programs Booking Form and sending it in with a $100 deposit.  Cheques are payable to Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.  Your booking confirmation will be emailed to the school representative.  If all 3 dates of preference or time are unavailable, the school representative will be contacted to discuss an alternative.  For more information please email or phone us on (03) 9926 1618.  (WipeOUTs are not available on School SplashOUT days).

Mega Sports Challenge

For a full day of serious sport and serious fun, bring your school on an excursion to MSAC. A Mega Sports Challenge combines both a WipeOUT and a SportsOUT, and will have your kids active all day long.

Programs can be tailored to your schools individual needs and all activities are run by our qualified programs staff.

Applications are made by completing the Schools Programs Booking Form and sending it in with a $100 deposit.  Cheques are payable to Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.  Your booking confirmation will be emailed to the school representative.  If all 3 dates of preference or time are unavailable, the school representative will be contacted to discuss an alternative.  For more information please email or phone us on (03) 9926 1618.  

School SplashOUT

School SplashOUTs are a great way to celebrate the end of a school year. They give kids the freedom to explore everything MSAC's aquatic facilities have to offer. Attractions are fully supervised and include:

• Wave Pool
• Water Slide
• Inflatable Slide
• Inflatables
• Movies

Applications are made by completing the Schools Programs Booking Form and sending it in with a $100 deposit.  Cheques are payable to Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.  Your booking confirmation will be emailed to the school representative.  If all 3 dates of preference or time are unavailable, the school representative will be contacted to discuss an alternative.  For more information please email or phone us on (03) 9926 1618.  School SplashOUT is run in December on specific dates.  

2011 dates:

• Week 1: Nov 28th - Nov 30th and Dec 2nd.
• Week 2: Dec 5th - Dec 6th and Dec 8th - Dec 9th.
• Week 3: Dec 12th and Dec 14th - Dec 16th.
• Week 4: Dec 20th - Dec 22nd.

Casual Groups

Why not bring your school group or club for a swim at MSAC? Casual Groups bookings are a great way to have a cheap day full of fun! Casual groups have access to the wave pool and the water slide.

The Leisure Pool area is open until 10.00pm every weeknight.
