There are two ways to ride the MSAC FlowRider, either standing up or bodyboard style.

Bodyboarding is the best way to ride the MSAC FlowRider for the first time. Bodyboarding give you a good feel for the wave before attempting to stand.

Bodyboarding

Riders place the base of the board just below the stomach to gently enter the wave towards the middle. Legs are used to guide movement like rudders.

Elbows are kept on the edge/rail of the board in order to move the Flowboard forward by pressing down or back by pulling up on the Flowboard.

To move from side to side on the wave, the rider should use his or her body weight to lean in the direction the Rider wishes to go.

Riders pull the rail on one side of the Flowboard to turn harder.

FlowBoarding (Standing Up)

Riders place the front foot around the middle to the front of the Flowboard and place the back foot about 3 inches from the back of the Flowboard. To keep balance, body weight/pressure is placed on the back foot.

Riders keep their knees bent to stay balanced throughout the ride.

*All first time FlowBoarders must complete a FlowBoard Lesson.
