Outdoor 50m Pool

Purpose built for the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games and 2007 FINA World Swimming Championships, the Outdoor 50m Competition Pool is the most versatile 50m pool in the world.

Heated to 27°, the Outdoor 50m Pool has 10 lanes, perfect for lap swimming all year round. It boasts the world’s first moveable floor in a 50m pool, giving it unrivalled flexibility.

When it is not being used for lap swimming the Outdoor 50m Pool is host to events such as:

• Swimming Carnivals and Competitions
• Water Polo
• Synchronised Swimming
• SplashOUT days (family fun days, using the versatility of the moveable floor to provide optimal depth for children's play activities whilst watching movies played on big screen)
