Indoor Pools

At MSAC, we have a variety of indoor pools to suit your needs.

With so many pools we can provide great options for programming and recreational swimming.

The pools all range in size and depth and have easy access for people with disabilities. More information on each of the pools is below:

50 metre Competition Pool

Heated to 27°, the Indoor 50m Pool has 10 lanes, making it ideal place for lap swimming. With slow, medium and fast lanes; the pool caters for all abilities.

The pool is extremely versatile, with moveable booms that allow it to be converted into water polo and under water hockey pools, or for 25m short course for events. The pool is frequently used for swim carnivals, with a grand stand seating capacity of 1, 800.

Other unique features include:

• 15 metre moveable floor
• 75 metres pool with 3 moveable booms allowing it to be split up into different configurations
• Video score board
• Public address system
• TV lighting
• Electronic timing systems
• Poolside meeting rooms
• Underwater viewing windows

25 metre Lap Pool

The 25m Lap Pool is a heated indoor pool, used for beginner lap swimming, aquatic exercise, swimming lessons and other aquatic programs. The lap pool has five lanes with a depth ranging from 1.2m – 1.4m. Temperature is 29 degrees.

The pool also caters for those with disabilities, equipped with a hoist for easy access. A lifeguard will be made available to assist with entry.

Multi-Purpose Pool

Heated to 32 degrees, the Multi-Purpose Indoor Pool caters for hydrotherapy, MSAC Swim School and family leisure.

Features of this pool include:

• Moveable floor – allows for purpose specific depths
• A hoist and entry steps for people with disabilities

Hydrotherapy Pool

Located in the Wellness Zone, the hydrotherapy pool is heated to 34 degrees. The quiet, relaxed atmosphere makes it the perfect place for hydrotherapy and gentle exercise.

Poolside change rooms, showers and a convenient entry ramp ensure easy access for all users.

Wave Pool

Australians love the beach, so we have decided to bring it to you all year round! Surf's up, with waves running every 30 minutes*. With a sloped, beach entry, the Wave Pool is a family friendly pool that caters for all ages and abilities.

Located in the Leisure Pool area, adjacent to the Toddlers Pool, this indoor pool is heated to 29 degrees.
