Lap Swimming

MSAC is the best place in Melbourne for lap swimming, with two 50 metre competition pools on offer. Providing ideal facilities for both the recreational and competitive swimmer. MSAC has both an Indoor 50 metre Pool and an Outdoor heated 50 metre Pool, each with 10 lanes.

Both pools are heated to 27°, the recommended temperature for lap swimming. There are options for swimmers of all abilities; with slow, medium and fast lanes allocated to each pool.

The lap lane availability feature provides an up-to-date indication of lap swimming lane availability each day. You can view lap lane availability for the 50 metre Indoor Pool and 50 metre Outdoor Pool before you arrive at MSAC.
